(Rochester, N.Y.) -- The sale of the fast ferry isn’t the end of the story.
There are two investigations looking into how taxpayer money was used for the fast ferry.
The FBI is exploring suspicions of fraud. The New York State Attorney General's Office is also investigating the financing of the ferry's first operator Canadian American Transport Systems (CATS).
The mayor's office is working to break the lease the ferry terminal with CATS’ sister company, Maplestar, which has a 40-year lease on the terminal building for a dollar a year.
