The PORT OF ROCHESTER.com web site currently reaches about 20,000 unique visitors per month during peak months.
With it's association to the physical Port of Rochester development and it's top search ranking on Google for "Rochester Fast Ferry", this site compliments any complete multi-channel marketing strategy that promotes the Rochester Fast Ferry, Tourism to Rochester, Toronto and the surrounding areas, as well as all businesses located within the Port of Rochester property.
As the City of Rochester continues to invest in the development of this waterfront asset, the PORT OF ROCHESTER.com URL will increase in marketing importance and value.
This site is currently maintained by one individual living remotely from Rochester, New York. This individual does not have the bandwidth to properly support or grow the site to sufficiently benefit the residents of Rochester and Toronto. Therefore, the site owner wishes to provide control of the site to an organization that will use PORT OF ROCHESTER.com to meet the established site goals to:
1. Support the success of the fast ferry and the Port of Rochester development
2. Promote international tourism
3. Support economic development in Rochester, Toronto and the surrounding areas
4. Have fun!
This site has been offered to the Rochester City Government, The Owners of the Fast Ferry (Rochester Ferry Company), The Ferry Operators (Bay Ferries, Inc.), and Local Business Development and Tourism Groups to provide a tool to augment their marketing efforts. To date, no concrete interest has materialized, so though the offer is still available to these organizations, the site owner is now opening up the opportunity for any company or individual(s) that offer a compelling business strategy that will positively impact Rochester, Toronto, and the surrounding areas.
As the site owner, I encourage you to submit your proposal and/or business plan to me at liuppa@PortOfRochester.com for consideration. All proposals that clearly articulate a benefit to Rochester, Toronto, and the surrounding areas will be given proper consideration.

If a sufficient number of Toronto and Rochester based residents volunteer to take on the content creation for this site, then I'm happy to open up development of the site to a consortium of individuals who will meet on a scheduled basis to plan, develop and deliver new content for the site.
